FINNISH MELODIC DEATH metal/black metal/power metal band Children Of Bodom gets the headliner spot for a Terry Harper show at Expo 5 on February 24. Part of CoB's "The Ugly World Tour 2011." CoB has toured with most of the biggest names in the heavy metal genre, including Slayer, Lamb of God, Mastodon , Megadeth, Job For A Cowboy and more, even though European metal is a subset all to itself, one that Americans do not necessarily get. Playing this show with them ar Revocation, Threat Signal and Eluveitie. Tickets will set you back an entirely reasonable $15-$20.

BLUEGRASS FANS SHOULD all have their tickets for the Del McCoury Band show with 23 String Band at Headliners on February 25 by now. McCoury has sufficient bluegrass credits to innoculate him from charges of impurity for his excursions into other genres, including touring with Phish and The Lee Boys. Non-bluegrasses - WFPK listeners, in other words - know him for "1952 Vincent Black Lightning," the Richard Thompson tune that was his biggest hit. Tickets for the shoiw are $20 adv/$25 Dos.
